WHILE many of us will be getting our dresses and shorts on this Bank Holiday weekend as we soak up the sun, there’s one person that unfortunately won’t be partaking.
Mrs Hinch has revealed the reason why she always wears Winter clothes in Summer, and it’s bound to leave you shocked.

The cleanfluencer – who has 4.4million followers – took to Instagram to open up about her blood clotting disorder that leaves her with bruises covering her body.
Mrs Hinch suffers from an inherited condition called Protein S deficiency and Factor V Leiden.
As a result, she is more likely to develop blood clots and must take blood thinning medication every day.
As Mrs Hinch took to her Instagram stories, she revealed her badly bruised legs and it’s safe to say, we have been left open-mouthed.
Sophie Hinchliffe explained: “Why does my blood have to play up as soon as the sun is out?
“This is why I never wear skirts or shorts or anything guys, because my blood is a little bit of a nightmare.
“I get so worried about going out when it’s sunny.
“My arms are the same too at the moment.”
Mrs Hinch fans were clearly very shocked at her legs and were curious as to why they were like this.

Sophie then came on her stories and added: “Sorry this is a bit of a boring post, but my inbox has gone a bit mad about the bruising.
“Nothing bad has happened but I have a thrombotic blood clotting disorder basically, so my blood clots really easily.
“I’m always on blood thinners.
“I’ve had a blood clot in the past – it’s been stented now to help the blood flow – but I’m covered in bruises all the time basically.”
Protein S deficiency and Factor V Leiden
Factor V Leiden is a mutation of one of the clotting factors in the blood.
Women who carry this mutation are more likely to deveop blood clots during pregnancy or when taking the hormone estrogen.
Protein S is a natural anticoagulant, which works to stop clots forming where they are not needed.
When there is a deficiency of protein S, the natural balance between clotting and protective anti clotting is changed. This increases the risk of thrombosis, especially in the legs.

But this isn’t the first time that Mrs Hinch has opened up about her blood clotting disorder.
Back in 2020, Sophie took to Instagram to hit back at trolls who shamed her for wearing a long dress to the beach, as she opened up about her condition.
Mrs Hinch said: “Pleasing everyone is like chasing a moving target. By trying to do this, we end up pleasing no one, ourselves included.
“You cannot control what others think about you, but you can choose how you talk to yourself.”
Mrs Hinch also opened up about her health condition in her book, Hinch Yourself Happy.
She revealed she was forced to miss her honeymoon a few years ago after falling ill with a blood clot, suffering back pain and a swollen leg, which left her unable to stand.
She explained: “I was so scared I was going to lose my leg.
“I am now on blood thinners for life but I was so lucky with the brilliant treatment I received and I feel incredibly blessed.”
