Kristen Wiig was a fashionable and festive host for “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend.
Among the “SNL” alumnus’ noteworthy style choices of the evening was a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels from the designer’s fall ’20 collection and nothing else. Posing behind a Christmas tree as a dress, the comedian wore the Laila Gold Leather Platform with Knot Detailing from the Italian luxury designer brand for one of the show’s famous title card shots.
The statement shoe retails for $537 on Giuseppezanotti.com and is available in five shiny colorways. The towering heels are also now on sale for 40% off of their original price.
A metallic platform shoe is a great holiday staple that will spice up your wardrobe thanks to its shiny colorway.

Dua Lipa also made a fashionable appearance as the musical guest for the holiday episode. The British pop star wore Valentino and Azzedine Alaïa for her Saturday evening performance.
The Saturday evening show was chalked full of fashion statements and comedic relief, including a guest appearance from one of Wiig’s signature “SNL” characters, Sue.
Wiig’s holiday host appearance comes after her hiatus as a new mom to twins. The “Ghostbusters” star and her fiancé Avi Rothman welcomed twins via a surrogate in June.
The couple was spotted out and about this summer on a hike with their children clad in hiking gear, which included sneakers.
For the Dec. 19 show, the new mom got glam. The last show of the season was not only full of funny and festive-themed skits but gave us some major fashion inspiration to take note of for the winter months ahead.
Below, take a look at a few of our favorite footwear options inspired by Wiig’s metallic platform heels she wore for her “SNL” appearance.
