I used to shy away from pearls because I thought they are more old ladies type.
But not any more (or perhaps it’s the age catching up? yikes….), I’m beginning to appreciate their beauty and adding them to my collection lately.
These are freshwater pearls, so naturally they aren’t 100% identical to each other in size and shape.
Some have growth streaks, slight dents, spots or scratches on them. I suppose we can see these as imperfections or it lends character? It’s your call 🙂
Bracelet length is adjustable.
After hooking up the clasp, just slide the round gold bead (on the left) along the chain to your desired length.
In this design, I mixed both roundish and oval pearls together, alternated with shades of purple Swarovski crystals in addition to 1 butterfly in the middle.
As for spacer beads, I used rounded cube hematite with matte coating, it seemed to go better with pearls than my usual 14k shiny gold ones.
Half of the bracelet also has a second layer dangling below it, a unique leaf cut-out chain 🙂
