Miniso continues retail expansion in N.J. with 2 more stores

Miniso, a low-cost and variety retailer, is increasing its footprint in New Jersey.

The Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand opened a store at 1 Garden State Plaza in Paramus’ Westfield Garden State Plaza on Nov. 6. Another store will open Dec. 10 in Elizabeth at The Mills at Jersey Gardens (651 Kapkowski Rd).

Earlier this year, the company opened its first East Coast location in Cherry Hill.

Miniso, which targets Gen-Z shoppers, carries household goods, daily life products, health and beauty supplies, fashion accessories, digital products, and food and toys.

The brand has collaborations with Marvel, Disney, DC Comics and Minions.

Miniso opened its first United States store in California back in 2017. Since then, the company has opened 37 locations nationwide and is planning to open another 15 in the next few months.

There are currently more than 4,700 Miniso stores in over 90 countries.
