Company news: WCNY announces promotions of three longtime employees

WCNY announced the following staff promotions:

Haley Dubnoff, of Fayetteville, was promoted to senior director, marketing, communications and creative services. Dubnoff joined WCNY in 2013 and previously held communications and public relations positions at the United Way of Central New York and Loretto. She earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Douglas Moreau, of Sauquoit, was promoted to senior director, TV production in Syracuse. He joined WCNY in 2006 and previously was a producer/director at WTVI, Charlotte’s public television station, and a director at the Home Shopping Network in St. Petersburg, Fla. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the State University College at Cortland.

Tanner Pechin, of Brewerton, was promoted to senior studio supervisor. He joined WCNY in 2014 and previously was a production assistant at Otto Media. He earned a bachelor’s degree in cinema studies with a minor in screenwriting from the State University of New York at Purchase.

WCNY was founded in 1965 as The Educational Television Council of Central New York. Today, it is a community-owned media company that produces content across multiple platforms.
