Fall fashion colors and embracing the bump with super soft and comfortable knitwear.
Pregnancy style?! I had to type that a few times to let it really sink in! Dressing lately has been challenging, but I do love a fashion challenge. Even before pregnancy, I had a hard time wearing pants. If you take a look at my older posts, I don’t wear pants often. There’s really no delicate way to put this… The reason why I don’t like pants in general is that it rubs against my crotch and pelvic area. With my bladder disease, constant UTI and pelvic pain, I just don’t like anything that puts pressure there. Now with pregnancy, I really don’t like pants! Defaulting to my ultimate love – the sweater dress is my go-to for comfort. Before pregnancy and now with pregnancy.
Because I’m going to be wear a lot more sweater dresses, I’m always looking for creative ways to style it so it’s not a cut and paste situation. This cardigan sweater (worn as a sweater dress) is not only comfortable, but also so chic (and under $35!). I love the drop shoulder and balloon sleeves! Keeping with a fall color story, I paired it with a wrap belt and brown tall boots. These boots are really comfortable! They have a memory foam insole and are very easy to walk in (didn’t realize how important this is until now!).
What I love about this outfit is that I can wear it during pregnancy and afterwards. Ahhhhh, I’m just really enjoying these moments! As I mentioned before, I really don’t think I’ll get this opportunity again so I’m just embracing my bump as much as I can. Thank you so much for being on this journey with me!
