St. Cloud’s Ellora’s Beauty Supply moves to larger location

Co-owner Ellora Jackson said over time, she'll have even more products at Ellora's Beauty Supply, which moved Nov. 1 into a much larger space on Division Street.

ST. CLOUD — Want more of all things hair? One local business’s move means it has 30 times the space to offer that to you.

Ellora’s Beauty Supply moved from a location near the St. Cloud Library to its much larger new home at 3320 Division Street, next door to Chuck E. Cheese.

To be clear, it’s not just hair products Ellora’s offers. The store definitely has plenty of that — wigs (including human, blended and synthetic hair), extensions, braiding hair, crochet hair, hair accessories, bleach and dye.

“I basically tried to get every color I could think of in braiding hair,” owner Ellora Jackson said.

And Jackson said she has plans to bring in even more products over time, but that the strained supply chain has delayed some of it.

“I’m planning on having any and everything customers are looking for,” Jackson said.

But a decent portion of the space also offers clothes, the section Lenora Hunt handles called DripBar Clothing. She co-owns the store with Jackson, her mother.

Hunt said they’re also planning to rent out portions of the space to area entrepreneurs like it currently does with a small boutique area for 24 Pearls Couture. The business is also focused on employing young people.
